A few words for the project

The creation of the ‘Emm. Kriaras website’ by the Institute was made possible thanks to the initiative of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which fully covered the cost of its creation (book cataloguing, archive scanning, website construction). The Institute’s Board of Directors feels the need to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for its financial support, which made it possible for the team of this project to be employed at the Institute: A. Chouchoulidaki, who was in charge of cataloguing the books, St. Amanatidis, who filed the documents, E. Kleidona, who proofread the registrations, S. Natsiou, who scanned the documents, and A. Paschalis, who designed the website and electronically processed the material. The Institute wishes to thank them all for their zeal and professionalism. We also wish to thank I. Kriki, A. Loudi and K. Tsalakanidou, who selected those books from Emm. Kriaras’ library that were to remain at the Institute. Finally, we extend our warmest thanks to Ai. Nasta, director of the Central Library of AUTH, and to G. Kourmoulis and Th. Theodoropoulos, IT operators at the same library, for their invaluable help.
